History and independence

This is an independently operated information website. It is not a fund, not an investment firm, not a government agency and not a grant programme. It does not accept applications and it does not provide investment, financial or legal advice.

It is not operated by, and is not affiliated with, Walmart, the Walmart Foundation, the U.S. Conference of Mayors, or the U.S. Manufacturing Innovation Fund. Those names are repeated so the boundary is explicit. The sentences they come from are on the historical record.

No 2014 homepage snapshot was recovered. The earliest HTTP 200 capture found in the Wayback CDX for this domain, checked on 14 October 2026, is 5 August 2018, and the www host returns the same apex captures. The domain-history file records a for-sale title and a later shell title. Neither page's wording is reused. Two 2014 news articles named this domain as a place to read about the programme. That mention is not treated here as proof of who operated the domain.

The same boundary is shorter on the About page.
